Cooling relief in the scorching summer—ensuring safety to boost production

Under the blazing midday sun, the scorching heat seems to ignite everything around. The prolonged high-temperature weather has caused temperatures in the Taicang refrigerated container workshop to rise sharply. Yet, frontline employees continue working tirelessly under the sweltering heat—sweat trickling down their brows like beads—as they steadfastly toil on their own patch of ground, relentlessly striving to meet the company's production goals.
To ensure the safety of workshop employees during the summer and safeguard the health of frontline workers, Taicang Refrigerated Containers launched a "Cooling Delivery" initiative, bringing a refreshing breeze to frontline staff while extending the company’s care and heartfelt greetings.
Send Coolness Warm the heart
The company has consistently adhered to a people-oriented, core HR philosophy centered on shared success, implementing multiple initiatives and launching a series of heat-prevention and cooling measures.
The cafeteria and workshop have prepared cooling items for employees, including mung bean soup, ice cubes, beverages, and cold drinks.
Arrange for doctors to be on duty at the workshop's heatstroke prevention and cooling medical station, minimizing the risk of employees suffering heat-related health issues due to high temperatures.
Recently, leaders from the Management Department, Corporate Management Department, and HR & Administration Department visited the workshop firsthand, personally handing out salt soda, cold drinks, and more to employees. They warmly chatted with staff about the current production situation in the summer heat, showed genuine concern for their physical and mental well-being, and emphasized the importance of balancing work with rest. They also urged employees to prioritize safety above all else and encouraged them to regularly educate themselves on safety measures and heat-prevention strategies.
At the same time, relevant departments are urged to ensure proper heat-prevention and cooling measures for employees, as well as robust safety responsibilities, so that workers can "lean against a big tree and rely on an umbrella" even during the hottest days.
Although the weather is scorching and unbearable, it still feels warm and comforting to the heart. The company’s thoughtful gestures of care and concern deeply moved the employees. Frontline workers expressed their commitment to performing their duties diligently, staying firmly at their posts, and strictly adhering to safety protocols—undeterred by either extreme cold or intense heat—and redoubling their efforts in production to contribute their part to the Taicang refrigerated container industry.
